Improvement Meme

It's funny how in 2012 I drew awesome tattoo arts but everything else was shit. 

I love my tattoo arts. All of them. Even the oldest ones are still amaze. 

I couldn't really fit much into the lines as descriptions so I'll put better ones here: 

I never drew a background once, I swear I must have not known that such a thing even existed. I always drew eyes way too big, and I think anatomy never crossed my mind once. The fur details were bad and nothing looked correct. I even sucked at designing and naming OCs back then. Also, I never used any program other than DA Muro. 

I started to draw backgrounds every once in a while. I tried a bit of shading, but barely ever did it. I had a long streak off of DA and came back, now posting nothing other than Traditional. Every once in a while I posted something digitally, though it was very rare. I started to get better at anatomy, thankfully. Fur details got better but I still sucked at it. I started drawing tattoo art in here as well, which I still love all of those pieces. I have no clue how I managed to draw them so amazing then draw everything else like complete shit. 

2013: 13-14 

I finally started doing Digital works again. I started trying out new things, I tried drawing MineCraft and Humans. I got a lot better at anatomy and fur and shading. My backgrounds were a ton better by the end of the year. I started looking like an actual artists, sort of speaks, as compared to a person who barely knew anything past drawing and coloring the line art in flat colors. Also, this is when I started to use Paint Tool Sai compared to paper or DA Muro. By the end of the year I was drawing much better pictures. 

I'm still improving in anatomy and shading and backgrounds. I've gotten a lot better at everything then I was just a few years ago but I know I have a long way to go still before I'm satisfied with my art. I've learned that drawing even the tinier details in my drawings can make them appear a lot better then they would have been without the details. The details matter bro, they all matter. Overall, I'm a landslide better than when I first joined DA back in 2011. <3

I can't wait till later when I can come back with a couple more years (( and later into 2014 )) to add to this. But for now I am so happy with my improvements. <33
